Happy Monday, friends! It finally feels like fall here in the bay area, which makes posting this post even more exciting! I personally think fall isn’t complete until you take a trip to the pumpkin patch! Last weekend my fiance and I took a trip to Dixon, California to go to Cool Patch Pumpkins, home of the world record corn maze! Let me tell you, they were not kidding! The corn maze is HUGE, which I loved because it was so much fun going through it! I can only imagine how much more fun it is during the evening!
Clearly, during the weekend we went we were not experiencing fall, thus the outfit I wore. But, hey that is California weather for y’all. One day it can be 90 degrees and then the next day its 55 degrees with Karl the fog rolling in. The outfit I wore to the pumpkin patch is a typical fall outfit I feel for us California girls! If we want to participate in sweater weather then we have to pair our sweaters with either shorts or skirts! I was happy that I could still rock my denim skirt to the pumpkin patch because y’all know I’m obsessed with them! I’ll probably keep rocking them into winter, I’ll just have to layer up and wear my over the knee boots, haha! Stay tuned for that post in the winter time =)
I wore this chunky orange sweater because the instant I saw this at Target my mind went directly to the pumpkin patch! I love that it is a waffle knit material because I love the texture it adds to the sweater. It is not itchy what so ever which is essential to me! I would definitely size down two sizes if you want more of a fitted look. I am wearing an XS for size reference. This denim skirt is also super affordable, and I have been wearing it to death! It keeps its shape really well and the length is perfect! If y’all follow me on Instagram then you saw me haul this hat! I have been on the hunt for a new floppy hat since mine are so beat up. I loved this hat because it not only works for the fall time but it will also work for the winter time!
I definitely recommend going to this pumpkin patch if y’all live near the bay area! When we went we ran into Tamera Mowry!! Y’all I was freaking out, she was literally next to me ordering food! So, you never know who you might run into at Cool Patch Pumpkins! =)
