Pastels in the Summer

Y’all know that I am a neutrals girl, but once in a while, I like to switch it up! It is always fun to switch up your style! Today I am sharing with you all how I rock pastels in the summertime!

Pastels are not only for the springtime! I do tend to gravitate towards them more in the spring time but I also like to pull them out in the summertime. Y’all know my LOVE for off the shoulder tops, but can you believe I didn’t have a blush one!  I love the simplicity of this top! Now, don’t get me wrong, I love a statement off the shoulder top but sometimes you want something more low key.  The only detail that this top has going on is the subtle ruffle detailing on the neckline. Since the material is a chiffon material it is very lightweight. I wore it out to a lunch date but I can definitely dress it up for date night! It would be perfect for Valentine’s day! Yes, I am that person that is always thinking ahead, haha!

Since I was going for a pastel look I switched out denim shorts for these chambray shorts. I always forget how comfortable chambray shorts are! Who else agrees with me?! These shorts also have that subtle ruffle detailing on the waist line. I finished off the look with some cognac mules. I also wanted to be a Snapchat filter in real life so I bought these retro glasses! They are so fun to wear and add so much personality to any outfit. Although, my fiancé seems to disagree!

Speaking about my fiancé, I will have my proposal blog post this week! I just needed a week to take in the joy of being newly engaged!!
